This section covers Martial Artist and Mercenary

Martial Artist


Class Intro

A Martial Artist has the greatest amount of HP, combined with the best recovery rate, allowing them to fight well without requiring medical attention from a doctor.

A Martial Artist also has good physical and magical defense, and can protect team members in dangerous areas from enemies of both the sword and magic-wielding variety. A Martial Artist has some offensive skills particularly effective against other players.

In an arena fighting other player characters, a Martial Artist can utilize their abilities to the full extreme.

Most common builds for Martial Artist

2 Physic, 1 Agility per level
1 Agility, 1 Physique, 1 Dexterity per level to 20-28 then either 2 Agility, 1 Physique or 1 Agility, 2 Physique per level
2 Agility, 1 Physique per level
3 Physique per level


Power Attacks

Power Attacks are more suitable for martial artists concentrating on defense. They can cause dizziness, reduce attack power or bypass an enemy's defenses.

Power Attacks are not affected by attack power, unlike other offensive skills that are strengthened by physical attack power.

Penetrating Blow
An attack that can damage an enemy regardless of defense.

Far-Flung Fist
A long-distance blow, made after building up force, that partially ignores the target's defense.

Armlock
Grabs the enemy's arm forcefully, reducing attack with a chance of disarming the enemy.

Smash and Grab
Simultaneously attacks an enemy and snatches their weapon. Success rate 55%. User is vulnerable for a short while after use.

Flying Fist
An attack that inflicts damage from a distance.

Fortifying Force
Concentrates the user's inner powers, temporarily increasing defense.

Seismic Shudder
Strikes the ground to inflict damage on surrounding enemies. User is vulnerable to attack for a short while after use.

Tranquil Turtle
Absorbs magic power from the atmosphere, recovering HP periodically when standing still.

Knockout
Rush into the enemy at great speed, occasionally knocking them out for 10 seconds (3 seconds against other players).

Jawbreaker
A fierce punch aimed at an enemy's jaw that has a chance of knocking them out for 22.5 seconds (1/5 against other players).


Staff Attacks

These skills are suitable for Martial Artists concentrating on offense.

Many of the maneuvers in Staff Attacks have multiple hits. The damage of the extra hits is determined by the strength of the character's normal attack.

Coiled Serpent Staff
Special attack using a staff.

Staff Dance
Moves staff in a captivating dance, causing damage to nearby enemies.

Swizzle Stick
An attack that inflicts damage from a distance by rapidly spinning a staff.

Dragon Guard
Swings staff with incredible speed, causing great damage. Enemies closer to the user receive extra damage.

Cloudshaker Staff
A special staff attack that has a relatively long reach.

Staff Whip
Throws staff at the enemy at great speed, causing damage and stopping magic for 5 seconds.

Meditation (skill)
Concentrates force in the abdomen, increasing HP recovery and MP recovery when sitting down.

Channel Energy
Circulates force around the body, temporarily increasing maximum HP.

Elbow
A blow to the elbow that lowers attack and chance of reflecting skills.

Break Weapon
Attacks a target's weapon and stops them boosting their attack for 30 seconds. user is vulnerable to attack for a short while.


Martial Arts

These skills enable you to equip boxing gloves whilst in different jobs.

Equip Boxing Gloves
The ability to equip boxing gloves.

Equip Staff
The ability to equip staff.

Boxing Gloves Mastery
Allows Boxing Gloves to be used regardless of job at % of their full strength.

Staff Mastery
Allows staffs to be used regardless of job at % of their full strength.

Endless River
Increase HP Recovery received by *%. 1/2 effect for non-Martial Artist occupations.

Mercenary

Class Intro

A Mercenary can equip heavy armor and shields, and has the best defensive power of all the warriors. In a team, a Mercenary plays the role of strengthening and protecting other team members. A Mercenary can use various weapons and switch between them at any time, utilizing the offensive skills of other jobs. The offensive skills of a Mercenary have the advantage of attracting the attention of monsters, and can be used to protect team members from monster attacks during battle.

Most common guilds for Mercenary

1 Agility, 2 Durrablilty per lvl (Spear) Generally accepted as the best Tank build.
1 Durability, 2 Agiility per level (Spear) Saves armor at later stages, squishy in early stages.
2 Durability 1 Dexterity per lvl to lvl 25, 2 Durability 1 Agility per lvl to lvl 35, 2 Agility 1 Durability per lvl from lvl 36+ (Spear)
2 Durability, 1 Dexterity per lvl to 28 then pure Durability (Spear)
2 Durability, 1 Power (Axe)
1 Durability, 2 Power (Axe)
2 Power, 1 Dexterity per lvl to 28 then pure Pow (Axe)
2 Physique, 1 Durability then pure Dur (Solo)


Ax Attacks

Ax Attacks include attacks for single targets and area attacks, skills that draw a monster to attack, and skills that strengthen your defenses.

Splitting Chop
A powerful ax attack that seems to split the heavens. User is vulnerable for a short while after use.

Cross Chop
Ax attack that makes a cross shape, damaging nearby enemies. User is vulnerable for a short while after use.

Owl Slash
A powerful single target attack with low accuracy. User is vulnerable for a short while after use.

All Bets Are Off
Ignore damage to self and engage the enemy in a contest of power. User is vulnerable for a short while after use.

Precision Strike
Focuses on the target's weak points, increasing attack by *% and accuracy by *.

All or Nothing
Sacrifices *% of defense to raise attack by *%.

Better-Blocker
Protective shield blocks which increase defense by *%, have a block rate of *, and reduce movement by *.

Iron Curtain
Creates an iron wall using an ax that temporarily increases defense by * and magical defense by *.

Taunt
Attracts the attention of a monster and draws its attacks. User is vulnerable to attack for a short while after use.

Mock Monsters
Attracts the attention of a group of monsters and draws their attacks. User is vulnerable for a short while after use.


Spear Attacks

These skills include many special formation skills, the power of which depends on the number of team members in the formation.

Stabbing Strike
A thrusting spear attack. User is vulnerable for a short time after use.

Stick and Twist
A thrust followed by a twist of the spear inside the wound. User is vulnerable for a short time after use..

Wicked Windmill
Damages all enemies in the surrounding area. User is vulnerable for a short time after use.

Corkscrew Slice
A penetrating thrust followed by a screwing action. User is vulnerable for a short time after use.

Goose Formation
Offensive formation that increases movement speed and attack at the expense of defense. More people improve the effect.

Arrow Formation
Offensive formation that increases attack. More people improve the effect.

Circle Formation
Defensive formation that increases defense. More people improve the effect.

Snake Formation
Defensive formation that increases defense, block, and attack speed. More people improve the effect.

Dustpan Formation
Defensive formation that increases magical defense. More people improve the effect.

Crane Formation
Offensive formation that increases magical attack. More people improve the effect.


Mercenary Skills

These skills enable you to equip spears, shields, and heavy armor whilst in different jobs.


Equip Spear
The ability to equip spears.

Ax Mastery
Allows axes to be used regardless of job at *% of their full strength.

Equip Ax
The ability to equip axes.

Bronze Sinew, Iron Bone
Reduce normal attack damage from enemy by *%. 1/2 effect for non-Mercenary occupations.

Equip Heavy Armor
The ability to equip heavy armor.

Equip Shield
The ability to equip shields.

Spear Mastery
Allows spears to be used regardless of job at *% of their full strength.
